Camp Experience

For over twenty years, we have provided a heart-changing experience for our Wyoming Athletes and Coaches through our FCA Sports Camp. Whether it was in Powell or Black Hills State - FCA Wyoming staff have always seen this summer event as a powerful way to grow community, challenge leaders, develop athletes and plant seeds for future ministry. 


This summer our FCA WYO Sports Camp is having the ultimate HOMECOMING! We have relocated to the awesome campus of University of Wyoming for Camp 2023.  This season will be about taking ministry in Wyoming to even GREATER levels.

Our Mission and Vision continues to be about reaching EVERY athlete in Wyoming with the Gospel and helping them in their faith journey. 


BUT...


We cannot do this alone. Many Wyoming athletes need financial assistance to attend Camp. Certainly, our past impact from Camp has directly resulted from the generous giving from our FCA community and donors.

ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT

Campers choose one sport to develop at Camp. Their growth will continue on and off the field, both as an athlete and as person loved by God! Did you know that our Team Chaplains lead sports sessions with ministry theme messages and testimonies?

INTENSE COMPETITION 

4 Days of intense competition at high quality facilities and safe environment. Opportunities to compete and prepare for future athletic competitions. 

FAITH AND FELLOWSHIP

What does that look like? Of course, fun and fellowship. Mornings with quiet time with God. Huddles daily meet to study the Word. Evening Chapel with a message and worship. Sharing the Gospel, making disciples.

EXCELLENT COACHING & INSTRUCTION

Excellent instruction by Coaches who love Jesus and want to make an impact through the vision and mission of FCA. Our staff provide all resources and support our Camp Coaches need to make Camp a life-changing experience!

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: A STORY WITH HEART!

Last summer and this year, our Multi State FCA Camp was blessed to have Sarah Freymuth attend as an FCA journalist. She traveled to our camp and took many photos and interviewed Campers and Coaches.

ALREADY APPROVED


What does it mean to be truly accepted and already approved?

This is the questions Andy Davis, a high school senior in Sundance, Wyoming, wrestled with as he began his week at our multi state, co-ed FCA Sports Camp. Joining his Huddle and working hard with the wrestling team, barriers began to break down as Davis felt this environment was different than any he’d experienced.


“It’s a very uplifting experience, very faith-building,” the first-time camper said. “It’s nice to be around other people with the same mindset and values.”

What really struck Davis was everyone’s vulnerability, from Huddle leaders to coaches to fellow campers. “It’s great to see everyone lifted up in faith and be themselves and not put on any facades or fakeness.”
