Hello! Welcome to our Wyoming FCA Blog.

We hope that the stories and updates here give you insight into what God is doing in our area through our staff, coaches, athletes and volunteers and help connect our Fellowship of Christian Athletes community.

That’s why…

We would like to share with you in this quick post 5 easy ways for volunteers, coaches, staff, campers, and others in our FCA community to share your camp photos with FCA Wyoming:

  • Use our Hashtags
  • Upload to Dropbox
  • Email WY FCA

But first....

Check out the first Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp photo from 1956. There is an amazing backstory on how FCA all began and the fact this photo even happened was totally the work of God.

What great motivation for us to continue their legacy and share the faces and stories of our FCA community!

Please note: there will be specific times phones and cameras are restricted during camp. We ask that you honor those times - and know that our camp Photographer and Videographer  will be there to capture those moments when you need to be in that moment. :)

Disclaimer: We cannot control content posted from other's accounts and using hashtags. That means we cannot be liable for any inappropriate or abuse with content posted with hashtags and tagging our usernames.  BUT...If you happen to see any inappropriate content or abuse of these hashtags, please report it to Instagram or FB. Notify us as well and we will report it, too. Thank you for your help with this.

Let's keep all things social media and FCA honoring to God!

Now for the 5 Easy Ways to Share Your FCA CAMP Photos
 Let's Go!

1. Use Our Hashtags

This year, we are really putting our hashtags out there. It is a great way to organize and share what is happening at camp! We took the official FCA camp hashtag #FCALETSGO and customized specifically for our Sports Camp.

You are welcome to use it with your Facebook posts, Tweets and Instagram stories and posts if it involves a FCA camp experience with our Northern Black Hills Camp June 25th-30th.

Feel free to also use these other hashtags as well:

2. Post to Instagram

Also, we hope to use all the photos from the hashtag gallery and create a slideshow for campers using THEIR photos to tell their camp story before our awesome time at the evening TEAM Chapel. We cannot think of a better way to unite campers before worship and chapel.

Check out this infographic for the breakdown on building up our hashtag gallery!

3. Share on Facebook

When you post your photos to Facebook, remember to tag us with our username @fcawyoming @fcacampblackhills and hashtag #FCALETSGOBLACKHILLS. This will create a hashtag gallery on Facebook and post to our timeline. Our FCA Community continues to grow on FB, so this serves as an excellent way to stay connected during and after camp with photos.

For FCA communities on volunteer pages, posting photos with hashtags will also help. In return, we can share photos on our official page timeline!

4. Upload to Dropbox

If you are a volunteer or staff at FCA camp, uploading to Drop box and sharing a folder with WY FCA communications certainly works for more and larger files. You are welcome to send shared folders to llawson@fca.org.

I (Lindsey Lawson) oversee content and communications with WY FCA and would be happy to receive photos from camp that I can edit and watermark to share officially on our social media (with photo credit to you). Please include a message with a description of your role at camp so I can identify you.

5. Email Photos to WY FCA or use WE.TRANSFER.com

Even after camp, we would love to receive your photos! If you did not have the chance to share during our amazing but super busy time at camp, email always works as an option other than Dropbox. Email Lindsey at llawson@fca.org your photos as attachments. No more than 1-3 please at a time!

There you have it! We hope that one of these ways helps you share your FCA Camp story this year. We value everyone's experience and want to see what God is doing in YOUR life at Camp.

Thank you for all your support and prayer during our Summer Sports Camp.
